Man, I don't know what it is, but this latest zone challenge really seems to have upped my motivation. It's kinda weird, but the more I stick to it - the more I WANT to stick to it. I won't lie, it was a real pain in the @$$ to get going... but once rolling it's gotten somewhat addicting.
Kinda like getting started working out.
Like a said, it was a pain to get going, but seeing results is so gratifying and it's made a lot of other things seem a hell of a lot simpler. I'm not sure if it's because I have more energy or because it's reset my interpretation of "challenging." It kinda tweaks my attitude towards others too... especially others that won't put in the same effort. It confuses me, really, and I'm like "c'mon with the excuses, already!"
Look, you're only too old, or too fat, or too busy, etcetera - if you allow yourself to be. It's all in your perception. Nothing worth having is easy. Focus on what "can be" and deal with the "interruption" ...you'll be glad you did.
You can't always believe everything you read, but I like this one too.
(The weather has been great this week and the afternoon classes got to enjoy some sunlight. Gonna be timefor some running WOD's soon!)
(Mary got her first unassisted pull ups yesterday. How bad do YOU want it?)
(There were a bunch of "bench press virgins" tackling "lynne" last week.)
(Ann is a speeding blur as she jumps over "two people" the day before the RIT Try a Tri. If Ann can WOD the day before her first triathalon and Denise can out hustle you while 4 months pregnant... there might be something to this CrossFit thing.)

that nike spot is awesome! thanks for posting.
